PLAYERS TO CONSIDER FOR CAPTAINCY CHOICE GW17

SUAREZ

With his recent blistering performance he is currently the most captained player. Having scored 2 goals and 3 assists in the previous game against spurs, it is almost a sure bet that he will also perform better against a Cardiff side that already wants to sack their manager without Suarez having a hand in it. Most of the games played at Anfield this season have been a high scoring games in favour of the hosts. Suarez, being solely burdened with the goal scoring task, in the absence of Sturridge and captain Gerrard is again a good sign that he will either be on the score sheet or involved in creating goals by providing an assist. There is also a bonus point for him as he is now a standing captain.

DAVID SILVA

In the absence of Aguero who is out injured for 6 weeks, Silva is one of the man city players expected to step up and fill the boots. Silva starting his first game since coming from a long layoff scored a goal against Arsenal. Also him playing in the number 10 role he is expected to score and assist in the goals. Man city playing against a Fulham side that is trying to find their groove on after hiring a new manager despite them having a problem playing away from home. He also come at a cheap price of 9.3 for a midfielder of his caliber.

NEGREDO

It is with no doubt that with the absence of Aguero that I have two players from the man city squad in contention for this week’s fpl captaincy. Negredo has been scoring goals partnering with Aguero and he is expected to continue banging in goals. He also has a good link up play and he should bring other players into play and provide assists. With the quite easy fixtures ahead despite facing Liverpool at Etihad after playing Fulham this weekend he should score goals in the coming games. For those having Aguero in their teams can replace him with Negredo who comes way cheaper than him.

WALCOTT

He is another goal scoring midfielder that has come from a long injury lay off and scored a brace in the previous game against man city. With his lighting speed and cool finishing skills from wide right he is expected to assist Giroud with the goal scoring burden having struggled to find the back of the net. Also with players like Ozil, Cazorla and Ramsey playing alongside him he should be scoring and assisting goals with ease.

            

 ROONEY

He has been the most prolific player for the struggling Manchester United side this season. Facing West ham this weekend at Old Trafford they should easily win the fixture with Rooney expected to shine. His ability to score from free kicks and with good deliveries from set pieces, fpl managers should expect to harvest good points from him and even so as a captain. Though he is a doubt with injury he is expected to shake off the injury and start the game.
